Carnitas Michoacan

After 10:00PM when we ordered on a Friday night. The food came out quickly and was tasty and big portions. They allowed us to eat inside. There were drink refills allowed. The meat was tender and flavorful in burrito. The burrito had a lot of meat in it. The taquitos also had a lot of meat and were flavorful too. It was tucked in back of shopping center and little difficult to find. It wasn’t fancy though good!

One of my go to places for Mexican food! They are open later than other places, their food is consistent and the staff are always nice. Very delicious food! Highly recommended.

Great food, done right in this small eatery. Quality of ingredients, flavors, portions everything was spot on. All 3 salsas were delicious as well. We loved it and are glad we tried it out.

It’s a family-owned restaurant with mouthwatering burritos, tacos, enchiladas and more with a self-serve salsa bar. Every bite is a taste of Michoacán tradition. Carne Asada – Juicy and perfectly seasoned Carnitas – tender, melt-in-your-mouth pork bites Lengua – Buttery-soft beef tongue, braised to perfection. Al Pastor – Marinated pork with a perfect sweet and savory balance. My FAVORITE!! ************************ We picked up some rice, beans and salsa verde for our Superbowl party. Everything was very tasty!! They had wonderful customer service.

Hadn't been to this restaurant because they have 'carnitas' in their name but something made me take a closer look at their menu last night. EXCELLENT FOOD! I ordered a bunch of stuff, chicken enchiladas, hard shell carne asada taco, birria tacos and hubby had the chimichanga. The food was so delicious I want it again today!!! Birria was off the chain. Enchiladas had fajita veggies inside, cooked to perfection. Will 100% go again.

I popped in at 9:30 pm on Super Bowl Sunday and had a nice meal. I live in Simi Valley and all the Mexican food places close by 9 or 10 pm. I didn't wanna be rushed so it was nice they're open til 11. Walked in and was greeted by Tony I believe who was sweeping the floor. We talked some football. Didn't catch the name of the nice lady behind the register but she was cool too.. They are really nice. They got my Super Nachos out to me in a just a few minutes. For meat I had lengua. The lengua was nice and tender and had just the right amount of flavor. Everything was fresh and the portion was just how I like it. Big! The Jamaica drink was full of flavor and nice and cold. They also have a salsa bar. I will definitely go back and support this family owned business.

Best Mexican food in The Valley. I traveled from Washington and after years away, they still have the best food. Try the carnitas, al pastor... But honestly - everything is great!
